PEAR watchface for Android Wear

So there is this big company, lets call it PEAR industries, which will release that awesome new product in 2015. They always tell how cool and innovative they are. So I decided, that it would be nice if we show the people following this company how cool our shiny products can be ;)

Go to your special friends and tell them, that you have the new prototype smartwatch from PEAR before everyone.

This shows you how easy it is to create your own designs with WearFaces. Have fun!

Download the round watchface packs. At the moment the preview in the app on the phone will just show a square device. But you can send it to the watch anyway.

They got it so wrong. A smart watch should only be an extension of a phone. As the iWatch cannot be used without a phone, your phone will be on your person. So instead of looking at a 1.5 inch squared selfie, just get your phone out please.

Well, I know that the smartwatch will eventually replace the smartphone altogether. Personally, I think a smartwatch shouldn’t need a phone at all. The Apple Watch is a step in the right direction, but not there yet.

Or you can always have a octocore watch with a 5 inch wireless display that you can hold in your hand and use as a smart phablet or such. Wait this is actually genious Trademark

I agree with you. What you kept a wireless display in your pocket that you can take out to watch videos and do other stuff on? Better yet, what if this could be a future use for smartglasses? The actual computer is the watch, and the monitor is Google Glass? I’d love that.

I think for a wireless display the best ones would be foldable. But going back onto the smartwatch topic, Apple has made one step forwards, but it’s percieved as 2 steps backwards. Why micmic a phone on your wrist, when you have one unless it can BE the actual phone.

I highly disagree with what you have to say. I don’t think a watch should act as its own device. Its way too small to do the same tasks as a phone and Apple will learn that eventually. Their UI is not useful for a 1-2″ display on your wrist.

Well, that’s what I think the future use for smartglasses could be. To act as a larger monitor for the smartwatch.

Actually it can, just in limited form, you can go for a jog with your music on watch and leave the phone at home. Cook even said so himself. I would love to see a watch somehow “extend” a phone in the manner you are speaking while being outside of any wifi/network range though. Oh wait, then you just have a watch phone…hows that model working for Sammy?

Oooh sorry fanboy. First off, I didn’t know that because some stupid company does let you watch the keynote event without an apple device. 2nd I love how you only talk about Samsung. Some fanboy you are because you don’t even know any other companies. Sony has a watch with a GPS in, so you can use it standalone. And Samsung smartsmart watches were the first big company to make them. Apple hid for a year and a 1/2 and still aren’t releasing it until next year at the price of a fucking phone! Look at the Nexus 5, I could buy one for the same price as the shitest apple watch.

Actually you could watch it without an Apple device, you just had to be smart enough to know how, VLC for example. But the stream was shit anyways and since it’s been reported elsewhere since then, you still have no excuse.
